Fiverr is rolling out a suite of back-office management tools to support freelancers and small business owners with payments, taxes, and other regular tasks, according to a press release on Monday (Nov. 8).
Fiverr Workspace is a comprehensive suite that connects a variety of new tools as well as customer favorites from AND.CO.
“While many members of our community run their business solely using the Fiverr marketplace, we know that this is not the case for everyone and that some people have freelance businesses they run independently. Now, with Fiverr Workspace, they’ll be able to connect the two and manage all of their revenue streams through one, easy-to-use platform,” said Yonat Burlin, Director of Business Management for Workspace.
“By integrating the best-in-class features from AND.CO with the Fiverr platform, we are creating an all-in-one solution not only for freelancers working on and off of Fiverr, but also for small business owners who are looking for support in managing the back-end of their business,” Burlin said.
The integration of AND.CO into the Fiverr marketplace and the new Workspace solution provides freelancers and small businesses flexible and easy-to-use tools that also pack power. The user experience will be familiar so that current customers can jump right in without feeling lost.
The new capabilities will be introduced in the months ahead and will feature new payment options for retainer projects, complete with automated invoice generation at specified intervals. The payment tool can be customized to reflect the user’s brand.
New tools also include automated tax preparation that takes a deeper dive than previously available on the platform. Also included is access to financial consultants.
Fiverr Workspace has an improved UX design that was developed to seamlessly connect team members, and the mobile app was also upgraded to encourage “deeper connections with Fiverr and beyond.” Additional features are also in the works
Since 2010, the Fiverr platform has been working to support the future of work. The platform links businesses with freelancers that specialize in digital services in more than 500 categories, across nine verticals.
